Starters

Black pudding, tomato and welsh rarebit
sauteed black pudding layered with tomato and welsh rarebit

Wholemeal Spinach pancakes
filled with a cream and asparagus sauce and grilled gently with local cheese

Chicory Salad (v)
with melon, grapes and hazelnuts tossed in a honey vinaigrette and topped with feta cheese

Soup Course

Cream of Asparagus, Mint and Pea (v)

Main Course

Rack of Pembrokeshire Lamb (supplement)
topped with an herb crust, gently cooked in the oven on the rack and served on the rack with a rosemary and sloe gin sauce

Loin of Pork
Stuffed with cheese and creamed horseradish and served with a sherry and cream sauce

Mushroom and cashew nut pancake (v)
baked gently in the oven with a local cheese sauce

Whole Mackerel
Filled with a lemon stuffing, baked gently and served with a gooseberry and orange sauce

Chickpea Noisettes (v)
Served with a cider, cream and mushroom sauce

Breast of Pembrokeshire Gressingham Duck (supplement)
served with a raspberry, calvados and honey sauce

All served with vegetables of the day

Desserts

Tregynons Speciality Sticky Toffee Pudding
a light date sponce served with a hot toffee sauce

Chilled Lemon and banoffee flan
a cheesecake without the cheese; ginger biscuit base topped with a creamy lemon mousse, banana and toffee sauce

Tiramisu
Sponge fingers soaked in coffee liqueur and layered with mascarpone and chocolage

Rum baked banana
baked with rum, muscovado sugar and butter

Tregynons Home-made Ice-cream
A selection from Grand Marnier, mango and glace fruits: Bicentenary Bombe (mixed berries, meringue & cognac) and a Cranberry & Orange Sorbet

Local Welsh Cheeseboard

Followed by

Ground Columbian Coffee, Ceylon Tea or Tissanes.
Served with petits fours (v)
