All accommodation at Tregynon, whether it be as self-catering or otherwise (please see the Restaurant section of the website for details) is now in one of our remote cluster of three exclusive, stone cottages each being assessed by the Wales Tourist Board with a grading score for self-catering in excess of 90% i.e. Four and Five Stars. All are equipped to full residential standards throughout with central heating and have fully equipped kitchens including a cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer etc. Each cottage also has a lounge with stereo colour TV, stereo video and wi-fi.
Experience has taught us that many people are allergic to animals so we very much regret that pets are not allowed in any of the cottages or the main farmhouse.
All cottages have bed linen and towels provided with beds made ready upon arrival. All bedrooms have full bath and shower ‘en suite’ facilities. Each cottage is therefore equipped to the highest of standard and whilst guests may share the overall benefits of the surrounding grounds extending to some 10 acres, each cottage also has its own separate garden furniture and barbecue area. Subject to prior arrangement, cottage guests wishing to dine in the 14th century farmhouse restaurant may usually do so at a preferential ‘Residential’ rate on at least one night during their stay. Subject to availability and prior order, Tregynon also provides a ‘take-away’ selection of ready prepared main course options for those that simply want to ‘pop’ them into the oven.
Honeysuckle Cottage is suitable for 2/3 people, having a Four-Poster bedroom with ‘en suite’ bath and shower and a very comfortable bed settee in the lounge. It has a spacious, attractive, beamed dining area and lounge with attractive views looking towards the Gwaun Valley. There is a feature coal effect gas fire for additional ambience and the separate craftsman built kitchen is in natural pine.
‘Mini breaks’ (excluding Christmas, New Year, Easter and the other peak periods) are available in this cottage. Prices outside the Winter period vary according to the time of year and are available here.
This cottage is suitable for up to four people, having both a Four-Poster bedroom and a double bedroom each with its own full bath and shower ‘en suite’. It has a spacious, attractive, beamed dining area and lounge with attractive views looking towards the Gwaun Valley.
There is a feature coal effect gas fire for additional ambience and the separate craftsman built kitchen is in natural pine. Although the lounge has a very comfortable bed-settee we do not take more than four people in this cottage.
